Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, Dortmund also offers countless chances for special team experiences. The city’s wide green spaces, above all the Westfalenpark, are perfect for intensive, reflective team-building events. The sprawling Westfalenpark offers perfect conditions for varied outdoor team events, away from the busy city. Whether it’s our Team-Parcours, the teamio 5-Kampf or the GPS-Rallye, your team can find the ideal balance of fun and effective team building here. Other green spaces in Dortmund are great for outdoor team activities too: the Revierpark Wischlingen and the botanical garden in the Rombergpark are great spots for active team events in the open air.
The Phoenix-See is one of Dortmund’s modern landmarks. Its setting is quite special, surrounded by nature and modern city buildings alike. It’s ideal for water sports of every kind, of course, but also for hands-on team events such as raft building or dragon boat racing. The area around the lake, including the idyllic lakeside promenade, offers plenty of ways to get active outdoors together. And the neighbouring restaurants are inviting places to round off a successful team day.

Dortmund offers a wide range of possibilities for team events. The choice of indoor and outdoor activities in interesting venues is huge. Team-building challenges, team contests, scavenger hunts, escape games, quiz shows, archery or darts tournaments – anything goes.
For outdoor activities, Dortmund’s many parks and green spaces are particularly good, such as the Westfalenpark, the Fredenbaumpark or the Rombergpark. But you can also enjoy a wide range of exciting team events at the Phoenix-See or in Dortmund’s Old Town and city centre. For spectacular indoor events, the Signal Iduna Park is a fantastic backdrop, and Dortmund also has plenty of other indoor venues that can be chosen to suit your requirements.
