Keeping time together with your colleagues
Our drum event is the ideal choice if you’re looking for a team-building experience that gives everyone a burst of energy. Through lively musical activities, participants discover the importance of communication, collaboration and active listening. After all, a group that wants to drum in harmony has to tune in to one another. Fun comes first, of course – and no musical experience is needed at all.
Guided by experienced drum coaches, participants are introduced to different rhythms that merge over the course of the event into one orchestral sound. The final performance by all the drummers together doesn’t just give you goosebumps; it leaves everyone with a strong sense of togetherness. Our professional musicians guide you into the world of percussion. But drumming is about more than hitting a drum: rhythmic clapping, tapping and stomping come into play too. Together, your team creates a rousing musical performance!

How Drum Event works
To begin, we welcome you and your team warmly and introduce you to the world of percussion. After a short body percussion warm-up – clapping, clicking your fingers and stamping your feet – body and mind are wide awake.
Now for the music. Every participant receives a large djembe, around 60 cm tall. These West African drums win people over with their wide range of sounds and rich bass. Our drum coaches guide your team step by step and show how simple beats grow into complex rhythms.
With every beat, the sense of community grows. During the event, participants learn different drumming techniques and put them into practice in varied musical exercises. The group finds its rhythm together – quite literally.
Then comes the grand finale: all participants combine their rhythms into one impressive arrangement – a sound that really does give you goosebumps! Who’d have thought a group with no musical background could sound this harmonious?

How does the Drum Event work?
The Drum Event lasts around 1.5 hours. It starts with a body percussion warm-up: clapping, finger-snapping and stomping. Then everyone gets a djembe about 60 cm tall, and our drum coaches build up the rhythms step by step. In the finale, the whole group plays one big arrangement together.
Do we need any musical experience?
No, nobody needs any experience. Our drum coaches show you a range of drumming techniques and take the group from simple beats to more complex rhythms. Who’d have thought a group with no musical background could sound this good together?
What instruments will we play?
Everyone plays their own African djembe. These West African drums are about 60 cm tall and have a rich, deep bass. Other instruments join in too. As an alternative, we also offer a cajón workshop with box drums.
Where can the Drum Event take place?
Indoors or outdoors. Your offices, a conference room, the garden at your conference venue or a box at a football stadium all work well, for example. In the summer months, we’re happy to hold the Drum Event in the open air.
How many people is the Drum Event suitable for?
For 20 to 250 people. The Drum Event adapts easily to your group size, and everyone plays their own djembe – so each person gets to feel part of something much bigger.
