How well can your colleagues work together to create a giant chain reaction? Our Domino Effect needs real teamwork! In small groups, your staff design and build their own section of a huge domino chain reaction. Making sure the sections connect smoothly matters just as much at this team event as sharing out the tasks sensibly.
The theme is yours to set (for example, the topic of your workshop), and you can use it to represent processes, systems or strategies in what you build. That guarantees the ideas stay with participants long afterwards. Communication is the key to success here, but careful planning and arranging the materials matter too if you want the biggest possible effect. Ready to put your team properly to the test?

How Domino Effect works
After a warm welcome, the participants are split into several groups. Then every team hears the theme its section of the chain reaction has to follow, both in design and in the build. Next comes the creative planning phase, where each team maps out its own section.
In the next phase, the real building begins. With dominoes, LEGO bricks and small wooden planks (KAPLA), the groups craft their sections with flair. What counts is not only the fine detail in your own building area but also the bigger picture. Each team’s section must connect seamlessly with the next – it’s all about coordinating between teams, just like in your own company.
Once the building is done, each team presents its section – how will the other groups react? Why is the last stretch so stripped-back? Who is responsible for those daring bridges made of blue dominoes? When the teams present their sections, it’s the first real highlight of this colourful team-building event.
And now it’s time: together we count down – ten, nine, eight, seven… The dominoes tumble to the cheers of the hard-working builders, and you can feel the real excitement!
