The digital scavenger hunt for your whole company – even across several sites
How well do you actually know German cities? Whether it’s your hometown, your company’s base or the destination of your next staff outing, this interactive activity will give you the answer. Our iPad Rallye is an innovative, fast-paced team adventure that adapts entirely to your wishes and requirements. You explore a city of your choice in several groups. Equipped with iPads, walkie-talkies and other useful gadgets, off you go. Our virtual city map shows you both where you are and where valuable points are up for grabs. You earn them by completing tricky tasks scattered across the playing area. Famous sights, historic buildings, interesting places and hidden details – seek them out, then tackle one of the individually customised challenges. How many steps do you have to climb to reach the north entrance of Cologne Cathedral? There may be only one way to find out.

How iPad Rallye works
Before the starting gun goes off, you get a thorough briefing on the equipment. How do you use the rally app on the iPad? How do we keep communication clear over the walkie-talkies? And what’s the story with the contents of the backpack? Once every question is answered, the participants are split into several groups. To give everyone an equal chance, we’ve come up with a sophisticated algorithm: pure chance.
On your iPads, get set, go! From now on the teams are on their own and can tackle the pool of tasks we’ve prepared in advance with whatever strategy they like. You decide the order. Use the app to find the task locations and choose from challenges worth different numbers of points. The team walkie-talkies will surely come into play at some point too …
In the race against the clock and the other teams, the tension mounts – and the teams often pick up the pace too. With our live scores feature, the teams can check the current scores at any time. Around 15 minutes before time runs out, though, we hide the display – and the tension goes up another notch. Every point could mean victory, but the next task is almost at the other end of the pedestrian zone. You can still make it, can’t you?
Then time’s up and it’s game over! At the finish – a venue of your choice – we look back over what happened and take a look at the tasks you’ve mastered. The teams’ creative photos and videos are on show too, of course, before we finally crown the delighted winners of the digital scavenger hunt.

How does an iPad Rallye work?
After a welcome for the whole group, the teams head off independently into the playing area and tackle a variety of tasks. At the end of the digital scavenger hunt, all the groups come back together and we round off the team event with a lively award ceremony.
Where can we do an iPad Rallye?
Anywhere. We start the game wherever your group is. Whether in exciting cities such as Berlin, Hamburg or Munich, a small town or the countryside, we can run this activity wherever you are across Germany. We’ll even come to the Allgäu.
Do the start and finish points have to be the same?
No, the iPad Rallye can be planned with different start and finish points. For example, we can start at your company headquarters and finish at a restaurant, where the day continues over a meal.
Is this team event also suitable for large groups?
Our iPad Rallye works very well as an interactive team event for large groups. We can have up to 1,000 participants playing at the same time.
Can the iPad Rallye run across different sites?
Yes, it’s practically made for it. We can run the iPad Rallye simultaneously at several sites, with a comparable range of tasks for employees at each one.
How can this corporate event be customised?
The digital scavenger hunt can be customised in many ways: we’re happy to build in company-specific questions and special team tasks. The app’s interface can also be customised to match your branding. Just ask us what’s possible.
Is food and drink provided during the iPad Rallye?
We can equip the teams with expedition backpacks containing provisions such as fruit, muesli bars, snacks and drinks. Another popular option is a refreshment stop, where an entertaining team challenge and chilled soft drinks await the teams.
How long does the iPad Rallye take?
That’s up to you. We recommend allowing 1.5–3 hours for this varied team event.
What do we do if it rains?
We have rain ponchos ready for all participants. If the forecast warns of severe weather or storms, we can agree on an indoor alternative together before the event, for example our exciting Live Escape Game or a lively quiz show.
Is the iPad Rallye available in English too?
Of course – we can run the team event entirely in English, including the welcome, all the tasks, the results and the award ceremony.
Is your iPad Rallye a good idea for our Christmas party?
Yes. An iPad Rallye in Advent is definitely a good idea for your Christmas party. This entertaining team event can take you through the local Christmas markets, with festive challenges along the way. Glühwein (hot mulled wine) and alcohol-free punch are of course along for the ride.
