Step into Bonn’s history with a visit to the historic Rheinhotel Dreesen, the “White House on the Rhine”, where US President Dwight D. Eisenhower once stayed. Or enjoy contemporary events in the baroque Villa Stella Rheni, which also served for a time as a Jesuit boarding school. Today this castle-like building makes an extraordinary venue. Sporty teams can look forward to exciting contests in the Rheinaue, or take on an adventurous puzzle tour through Bonn’s Old Town.

The wide Rhine meadows and spacious green areas of the Freizeitpark Rheinaue offer scope for countless action-packed events. We particularly recommend our Drone Race. It suits the city itself: tradition meets modernity. In a classic team tournament, you and your colleagues compete against each other in three futuristic challenges. The action comes thick and fast, on the ground and, of course, in the air. After a successful landing, the park restaurant “RheinAue” is the perfect place to wind down. If you’re after something out of the ordinary, Basecamp Bonn is a must. Among vintage caravans and retro trains, you can try out innovative workshops and events. Why not create your own art gallery? With our Kreativ-Werkstatt (creative workshop), you can. With this colourful venue as your inspiration, you’ll wield your brush with ease and skill. Bonn has plenty to offer indoors, too. The World Conference Center is ideal for large events, while the Dorint Venusberg Bonn, with its charming setting, is a great choice for smaller team events. Both are perfect venues for our hotel and office golf tournament. Here the meeting room becomes a driving range and the hotel corridor turns into a mini golf course. But don’t worry about smashed windows or broken vases: our hotel golf balls are made of rubber.
The Freizeitpark Rheinaue is an outdoor paradise. The park is an idyllic setting for all sorts of activities with your team: team-building challenges like our teamio Biathlon, modern scavenger hunts with the GPS-Rallye or sporty fun with lawn curling. The park restaurant “RheinAue” rounds things off with food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Basecamp is one of the most unusual venues in Bonn. Among classic cars, caravans and vintage accessories, you can set up creative workshops, exciting contests or a relaxed team evening. Become Bonn’s answer to Quentin Tarantino at the short-film gala (Kurzfilm-Gala), or build your own racer at the soapbox derby (Seifenkisten-Derby). The former summer residence of Freiherr von der Heydt was handed over to the Jesuit order in 1927 to serve as a private boarding school. Today the “Schloss auf dem Wacholder” is an exclusive venue for corporate events and conferences.
