    Marienburg Monheim combines tradition with innovation

    Originally built as the summer residence of Reichstag member Eugen von Kessler, used as a strategic point during World War II and as an erotic establishment in the wild 1980s, Marienburg Castle can look back on an eventful history.

    Today, under the management of Alexander Zimmer, the imposing building with its red brick façade offers a unique venue for guests to hold events and conferences. Conveniently located between Düsseldorf and Cologne, directly on the Rhine, Marienburg Monheim offers an incomparable setting for your event.

    Whether you are planning a conference, convention, workshop, meeting, or team event, we can offer you a comprehensive, worry-free solution tailored to your individual wishes and needs.

    Our rooms combine old walls with state-of-the-art technology. Each of our light-filled rooms is equipped with a Metaplan wall, flipchart, individual seating, and a modern flat-screen TV. Our team will also be happy to work with you to implement contemporary hybrid solutions.

    Multi-day events can be held comfortably and conveniently at Marienburg. Our in-house guest rooms offer the perfect opportunity for a relaxing stay, because we want your ideas and creativity to be the focus—not the stress of traveling to and from the venue.
