Course of the event: Online Gin Tasting
The bitter tonic water - refined with gin for flavor reasons at the time - was highly valued by the British as a preventative health drink against malaria in India. Today, the long drink gin and tonic has become a global cult drink, not least because the high roller (high roller: spirit + carbonated filler) can also be easily prepared at home. Our virtual company event takes you into the exciting world of gin - conveniently and safely from your home office.
We send out our pleasure packages in advance, which contain five selected premium gins, various tonic waters, selected botanicals (natural flavors in the form of berries, fruits, herbs or roots), a nosing glass and a stainless steel bar spoon. We fill the gins into beautiful glass bottles for you - with care and lots of love, so that nothing stands in the way of your online gin tasting.
Then we finally welcome you - via Zoom or MS Teams - to your own gin tasting with your colleagues. We are proud to say that our studio is one of the best bars in Essen (NRW). We start with the history of gin, which dates back to the 17th century, the invention of gin and tonic during the British-Indian War, the gin crisis and the path to the world's biggest bars.
Now the gin tasting finally becomes a tasting: we start with the tastings. First just with the nose - smelling. Then we sip, keeping the gin in our mouths and letting it run slowly along the palate - and then we let the overall impression sink in together. Did you also taste the subtle nuances of almonds and orange? Together we reflect on the different impressions and continue with the tasting; after all, there are four more gins that need to be experienced...
Finally, the topic of gin and tonic also gets its fair share of attention - and our bartenders have some real professional tips to ensure that your gin and tonic tastes just like it does in the bar. Cheers then!
Good to know: Of course, we offer our online gin tasting in German and English, so that English-speaking gamemasters from abroad can also take part in the virtual team event. In addition, we also offer alcohol-free enjoyment packages, which we send to participants who do not wish to drink alcohol as part of the event so that they can still take part in the tasting.

What is included in the tasting packages?
The tasting packages contain 5 selected gins, 2 tonic waters, matching botanicals, an untreated organic lemon, a bar spoon and a tasting glass.
When will the parcels be sent to the participants?
We send the tasting packages one week before the online gin tasting via DHL. Express shipping is also possible for bookings at short notice.
