Our raft-building event is just the thing for your active summer party. In addition to fun, excitement and creativity, this format also has a very refreshing character - although this factor depends heavily on the raft-building skills of your colleagues. In any case, you can expect an entertaining and action-packed team-building experience with a variety of challenges.

Project number one is, of course, building a sustainable raft. But you also need to creatively design your own pirate flag. And before your raft can finally be christened, there needs to be a small, festive presentation of what you have created.

Your raft is constructed from various materials that we provide to you and your team: Wooden planks, hemp ropes, tension belts and barrels - to create real rafts by hand according to your own design. Without any building instructions - but with a tip or two from our team of trainers. The tasks involved are so varied that all team members are involved.

But what's a raft on land? After the big boat christening, your buoyant creation will finally be launched into the water for the subsequent regatta. Raft ahoy!

Course of the event: Raft building team event

Weather permitting, we welcome you and your team to the beach or shore for a maritime challenge. First we form several teams. These smaller groups will then build the rafts with which you will later venture out onto the water. A prior introduction to the world of knots is essential for this. The available building materials are also briefly outlined before the active part can finally begin.
Step 1: Project management. Who sees themselves as a boat builder or alternatively in the creative team? Both positions need to be filled, but the former should ideally have more hands on deck. But now full speed ahead! Your first race will not be against the other rafts, but against the clock. But don't worry, the teamio crew will be there to support you during the construction and creative phases.
All the material has been installed, the ropes are taut, the knots are tight and the pirate flag with your logo has been hoisted - congratulations, your raft is seaworthy. Next up are the raft christenings. During this event, the teams wow the other teams with impressive musical performances or perfectly staged choreographies. We serve a sparkling wine or a non-alcoholic alternative, as befits the occasion.
Raft ahoy! After the obligatory safety briefing and putting on life jackets, the fun begins. Our regatta takes us out onto the water. Depending on how much time they have, the teams face various challenges - but always a final race: the regatta. This is where it becomes clear which crew works best together on deck and whether a team is actually paddling in time.

We are flexible when it comes to the location of our raft building event. The prerequisites are a navigable body of water, space to build and appropriate sanitary infrastructure. In North Rhine-Westphalia, we can stage this lively team building event for you on the Baldeneysee, the Aggertalsperre or the Otto-Maigler-See, for example. We would also be happy to check the feasibility of the event at your desired location.
Sailing makes you hungry
For the perfect end to an eventful team event, a delicious BBQ with refreshing drinks can also be arranged on request. Our beach club partner locations are particularly suitable for this. We think it's a well-deserved reward for the exertions of the afternoon.
