Course of the event: Online chocolate workshop
Did you know that chocolate originated in Mexico? The Aztecs are considered to be the inventors of cocoa, mixing crushed cocoa beans with water and stirring them with the help of a molinillo - a traditionally turned wooden whisk. Today, chocolate is considered one of the most popular luxury foods in the world.
With our online chocolate workshop, you can become a chocolatier in your home office. Our exclusive chocolate packages contain everything we need for this unique online team event. In addition to cocoa butter, beans and powder, you will also find chillies, a fermented vanilla pod and cane sugar in your package. A real Molinillo from Mexico - which we will use to stir up an original cocoa afterwards - is also included.
We start with an exciting insight into the history of cocoa. After this interesting introduction, we get straight down to business: together we make our own chocolate from the ingredients provided. Of course, we don't just make one bar. We vary the cocoa content and experiment with various special components - depending on your personal taste. While your chocolates rest in the fridge, we prepare the Mexican national drink together with the Molinillos: a cocoa like the Aztecs drank over 2000 years ago.
Meanwhile, our chocolate expert uses impressive pictures and short videos of his travels through South America to show the special features of different growing regions and production processes. In addition to exciting insights, participants will also learn why there is no milk in milk chocolate, why the best chocolate does not come from Switzerland and why the global price of chocolate correlates with Bitcoin.
Finally, they proudly present their own chocolates to the virtual applause of the participants. And then it's finally time to eat...
Chocolate also tastes good virtually!

Knowledge that melts in your mouth
In addition to the practical part, our workshop also offers interesting insights into the world of cocoa: from its origins with the Aztecs to modern production processes. Vivid videos and personal stories from our chocolate expert make this event experience not only entertaining and enjoyable, but also particularly interesting.
