For centuries, Sherwood Forest has lain gloomy - until now! We use torches and fire bowls to create an atmospheric backdrop for your team building event. After the welcome and obligatory technical and safety briefing, the adventure can begin. After all, you need to learn how to handle the longbows before you take your fate into your own hands.

But even complete newcomers to archery need not worry. Our expert team of trainers will be on hand to help you throughout the event. Arm protectors and sports tape for your fingertips are also provided so that at the end of the day, only the group photos - and no bruises - will remind you of your team event with bow and arrow.

Divided into several teams, the groups now face exciting archery challenges. Versatile modes ensure an exciting and thrilling team competition. However, a common will to win and perfect teamwork are essential on the way to the grand finale.

The campfire crackles, the torches bathe the targets in flickering light and the fresh night air blows gently over the participants. You step up to the firing line, draw your bow, exhale and ... hit it! Right in the golden center.

Course of the event: Torch archery

  • No marksman has fallen from the sky yet! As soon as you enter the comfortably lit scene, we will randomly divide you and your colleagues into several teams. Then your introduction to archery begins. We explain everything you need to know about technique and safety in the pavilions we provide so that all participants are optimally prepared.

  • Before the scored rounds start, there is a test shoot. This gives participants enough time to get to grips with the equipment. Of course, we provide archery equipment for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. Arm guards and finger protection are also provided. So nothing stands in the way of the perfect shot.

  • With fire bowls and torches as an atmospheric backdrop, the teams compete against each other in various disciplines. It's not just about accuracy - strategy, coordination and teamwork are also required. To round off the event, the teams compete in our final, the balloon shoot-out. Every single arrow counts here, as the opposing balloons are also released for shooting.

  • After an exciting final, the award ceremony follows. From now on, one lucky team can call itself the "archery champion". We are happy to capture the moment in an atmospheric team photo.

  • How does torch archery work?

    After the welcome and a technical briefing on the archery equipment, the participants experience an entertaining team competition with four different rounds. It remains exciting right to the end.

  • Do we act alone or as a team?

    Although archery is traditionally an individual sport, you and your colleagues work together in groups. This increases the fun, provides excitement and unique collective experiences.

  • Which bows do we shoot with?

    We work with special longbows as part of our archery team events. These have a draw weight of 20 lbs, which corresponds to approximately 9 kg.

  • How long does the team event with bow and arrow last?

    Archery with four different rounds usually takes 1.5 hours.

  • What do we do in bad weather?

    The launch area is covered by pavilions for all teams, so you are always in the dry.

  • Where can torch archery take place?

    We organize the communicative team-building event at your desired destination, e.g. at the conference hotel or on your company premises. We check in advance whether the format can be safely organized there. Please feel free to contact us.

  • Is there a prize for the winning team?

    We are happy to bring a gift for the winners of the team challenge, e.g. a magnum bottle of sparkling wine with your company logo or medals for the most successful teams.
