Build, drum, inspire!
Bring the rhythm into your team! With self-built cajóns and the right beat, you can find the beat in your company together. The first step is to construct the traditional Peruvian percussion instrument from scratch - well, not quite: you will of course receive high-quality kits, the necessary tools and detailed instructions. Our experienced teamio crew will also be on hand to support you throughout the entire construction process.
As soon as your cajóns are finished and - if desired - artistically refined, the musical part of the event begins. Under the guidance of our energetic drum coaches, you will learn catchy rhythms and arrangements together. These are not only enormously fun to drum, but also create a real goosebump atmosphere when played in unison within the team. The acoustic backdrop becomes increasingly complex - often even polyphonic - which creates a stimulating and activating atmosphere. Seeing the results of the joint creative process for yourself is extremely motivating. You will be surprised how quickly your team becomes a rhythmic-musical unit. How-to & construction phase
The sound makes the music. After the welcome and an introduction to the musical event format, we get straight down to business. The participants build their own cajóns. We provide all the necessary materials and tools and accompany the construction process of their new musical instruments.
Musical phase
Your cajón now becomes a sound generator! Together with our drum coaches, you will explore the sound spectrum of the box drums and develop rousing rhythms with your team. The most important thing: fun and communication! After just a short time, a musical pull and group energy will develop that is clearly noticeable.
Graduation & Cajón2Go
To round things off, it gets loud again: An impressive arrangement that gets under your skin is the musical finale of the workshop. Then you can take your self-made cajóns home with you - or back to the office. The creative team experience will be remembered for a long time to come - and your team can continue to work on their sense of rhythm after the event.

What is a cajón?
A cajón is a cuboid box drum originating from Peru. The wooden percussion instrument has a drum-like sound and is played sitting on it.
How does the Cajón workshop work?
The two-part team event inspires with two phases: the construction of the musical instruments and playing them together afterwards. The former requires manual skills and the collective music-making afterwards is simply fun and pure energy - which you can hear.
Where do the kits come from?
The cajón kits are made in a small instrument-making workshop in Germany and are made of beech wood.
Do we need special tools to make the musical instruments?
Yes, you will need a hammer, cordless screwdriver and sandpaper to assemble the cajón kits. We provide these as well as the appropriate protective equipment (work gloves and safety goggles).
Can we creatively refine the cajóns?
Of course, the self-made crate drums can be creatively designed as desired; e.g. in your corporate design with your logo or in the company colors. Ask us about the possibilities.
How long does the rhythmic team event last?
The duration of the team event depends on several parameters, such as the size of the group and the specific dramaturgy of the event. We usually calculate 2 hours for the workshop format.
Can you also organize the Cajon workshop outdoors?
Yes, our cajón workshop can also be held outdoors if there is enough space. Ask us about the requirements.
Will we be accompanied by real musicians at the cajón workshop?
Yes, experienced drum coaches will accompany you during the format and ensure that all participants stay in rhythm afterwards.
What happens to the cajóns after the event?
Participants can take the musical instruments they have made home with them after the event. Another great option is to give the cajóns to schools or youth centers, where they can bring lasting joy.
