State of NRW extends cooperation

Online team events for the Ministry of the Interior

The state of North Rhine-Westphalia - more precisely the local Ministry of the Interior - has once again extended its cooperation with the team building specialists from Essen. Teamio Event GmbH has been awarded the contract to organize teambuilding events for all employees of the ministry for the third time in a row.

"For the first time, online team events will be held alongside traditional face-to-face events," explains Johannes Dietrich, Managing Director of the event agency. "We have been inspiring our discerning corporate clients remotely with exciting event formats for almost a year now." The entire team is delighted that the online team events are now also being organized for the state of NRW.

Successful cooperation with the state of NRW since 2017

In 2017, teamio was awarded the contract to organize specific team building measures for the first time. The second contract was awarded in 2019. "The renewed extension of the cooperation until 2023 is a great compliment and at the same time an appreciation of our offer and our work," says event manager Claudia Makiela.

The fact that online team events are now being organized in addition to traditional team building formats is a novelty - also for the state of NRW. With over 240 successfully organized virtual events, Teamio Event GmbH is an extremely experienced partner for the Ministry of the Interior of the state of NRW. In addition to purely digital formats such as the quiz show or the online live escape game, there are also hybrid event formats in which participants receive so-called experience packages. This involves drumming, painting or cooking together in the home office. The focus here is also on communication and cooperation.

Online team events and face-to-face team building sessions

In future, the Ministry's organizational units will have the choice between an online team event and a classic team building event.

Depending on how the pandemic develops, the ratio between remote formats will shift back towards face-to-face events. "With specific hygiene protection concepts and with the appropriate incidence, this is responsibly possible," predicts Amit Lal, who was responsible for the tendering process as Managing Director. "We are currently only planning remotely, but our customers' need for real experiences is there."

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, team building and working together in a business context is possible - whether virtually or physically - with teamio you have the choice.
