Team-building events can bring teams closer
Team training generally follows three main approaches: theory-based team building, a combination of theory and practice, and learning through experience. The first looks at group dynamics in theory, with a trainer developing strategies together with the team. The hybrid approach combines the specialist’s theoretical input with experiential tasks, giving the group the chance to put what it has just learned into practice straight away. The third approach builds the theoretical element directly into the tasks. With the coach’s guidance, participants draw their own conclusions, finding ideas and practical guidance for day-to-day work. Follow-up events can be used to assess the success of these team-building events and reinforce it over the long term.
