Our kick-off event ideas
However different the circumstances are from one company to the next, some experiences are universal: the turn of the year brings new challenges and changes to every firm and industry, but opportunities too, and they’re there to be seized together as a team!
So what could matter more than knowing that this very team will head into the next twelve months with fresh enthusiasm, renewed energy in how they work together and shared determination?
We at teamio have come to the same conclusion, and we’d like to kick off the new year with you and your company in the best way we can!
Our suggestion for you: teamio kick-off events!
Experience-oriented and varied
Since 2016 we’ve been an event agency specialising in team events, team building and corporate events all over Germany. Our main aim is to understand our clients’ specific wishes and ideas and work closely with them to choose an event personalised to their needs.
Indoors or outdoors, small groups or large, cooperative or competitive: among our more than 50 event ideas that get people talking there’s something to suit almost any purpose or occasion.
Whether you want a day of focused team building and reflection or an activity where shared fun comes first – both (and everything in between) are possible!
For inspiration, here are a few events that are a great fit for starting the new year together:
Kick-off chain reaction
This one calls for steady hands, nerves of steel and plenty of teamwork: our Domino Effekt challenges participants in all sorts of ways.
In several groups, you build different themed sections out of the familiar colourful dominoes, then work with the whole team to join them into one big creation.
The high point comes when every piece is standing and it’s time for the grand finale: the first domino falls and the domino chain reaction is set in motion!
Of course, we can capture the whole thing on film.
Kick off with a city adventure
The iPad Rallye brings the scavenger hunt into the 21st century! Armed with a virtual city map, their pooled knowledge and combined sense of direction, several teams set off on an exciting city adventure.
Whether you’re on familiar ground or exploring somewhere new, we tailor the varied tasks and puzzles to the city and the local terrain.
Which group can collect the most points in a race against the clock and the other teams? Who’ll be rattled by the live scores, and which team will get “lost” in the shopping streets of the city centre? This one really puts you through your paces!
Table football to kick things off
Our table football events definitely belong on this list too!
At the Kickerbau event (building your own table football tables), participants can demonstrate their practical skills by independently assembling their own tables in small groups.
Don’t worry: we provide the kits, video instructions and expert support!
After the building phase, the competitive part begins: a gripping table football tournament in classic World Cup style. Teams take on each other in their newly built “temples of football”, first in a group stage and then in thrilling knockout rounds, to find out who gets to crown themselves table football champion at the end of the day. Our commentary team, of course, provides expert, impartial coverage of the spectacle!
If your team would rather focus purely on the sport and skip the building, of course you can: at our Kicker Cup there’s just one goal: getting the ball into the net.
Bring on the new year!
If you’ve found something interesting among the activities presented here – or in our wide selection of other event ideas – we look forward to starting the new year with you. Let’s make sure your team keeps meeting every challenge ahead in top form!
Let’s find the team event that suits your team
Tell us the occasion, group size, preferred place, date and the goal of your event. We’ll recommend suitable activities and work out together which option will work for your team.
