How Christmas market rally works
Haven’t had the chance to visit your local Christmas markets yet this year? No problem: simply plan your company Christmas party at a Christmas market in your city. We design an interactive team event that winds its way through the various Christmas markets. Glühwein stop included, of course.
We start at a spot of your choice: we welcome you, explain how it works and split you into teams. Then you’re off. The scavenger hunt runs right across the city centre, taking in the prettiest and most colourful Christmas markets in town. Past the sweet-smelling huts and stalls to the Glühwein stand, your first waypoint. Here you tackle the first team challenge together, and as a reward – naturally – there’s hot mulled wine from a winemaker.
Off to the next waypoint. Your task: build Santa Claus out of Lego bricks. Not so easy against the clock. But that shouldn’t be a problem for a team like yours, should it? A look at the GPS guide reveals the next coordinates. There the teamio crew is already waiting with another interactive team challenge: our snowball pipeline.
On this action-packed GPS-Rallye, you master several team challenges together and solve Christmas puzzles. There’s a geocache or two to retrieve as well. When you reach the finish, for example at a restaurant or pub of your choice, we round things off with a lively announcement of your Christmas market rally results. And the winner is…

We offer this unique event in various cities, including Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Mönchengladbach. We’re happy to organise the event in your city too – just get in touch. The rally is always a real highlight in Cologne, where we visit three Christmas markets.
What challenges will we tackle during the event?
Alongside the Christmas puzzles, there are challenges that call for real teamwork, such as building Santa Claus from Lego bricks, constructing a snowball pipeline or playing charades with Saint Nicholas. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
Is there Glühwein too?
The teams’ expedition backpacks hold Glühwein alongside Lebkuchen (gingerbread), mandarins and Spekulatius. We source this delicious winemaker’s mulled wine from the Palatinate exclusively for our events. And of course, your refreshments also include non-alcoholic hot drinks, such as delicious organic teas.
Can the Christmas market rally go ahead in bad weather?
Yes, the Christmas market rally can also take place in wintry weather. We adapt the event to the conditions so that it stays safe at all times and entertaining throughout. We plan an alternative programme in advance in case the weather turns truly awful, such as our entertaining Xmas Quiz Show or a gripping Live Escape Game. That way nothing stands in the way of a successful Christmas event, not even the weather.
